Horizon founders return to the Irish market with Island Networks
The founders and former directors of Horizon Technology Group have returned to the Irish IT market with a new company, Island Networks, specialising in cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise and government customers in Ireland.
Samir Naji and Gary Coburn, former Horizon Chairman and CEO respectively, have established Island Networks to address the growing need for cloud infrastructure solutions in Ireland. The company has formed strategic partnerships with Cisco Systems and NetApp, the leading global converged infrastructure providers, and provides solutions and services using products from these companies

Island Networks will be hosting its inaugural free Executive Briefing, entitled ‘Catch Your Cloud’ in the Conrad Hotel on the 23rd of May, at which international expert speakers will describe what ‘the Cloud’ means for companies in Ireland and how they can drive business agility through the use of cloud technology.
